a feeling of euphoria i wont soon forget!

yesterday was my first feis (irish dance competition!) back in 10 MONTHS!!! i was SO EXCITED omggg. so much, in fact, i started before the music, because i was SO EXCITED! ok, by now i guess u get how excited i was..lol.
so me, and kerri, and erin, yeah..we all just chilled for a while...looong day, to give you all an idea...it started at 8am, i didnt get there til like, 3pm..cuz thats wat i do, hah..and yeah, didnt get to dance til 7pm..and i MESSED UP a total of 3 TIMES! in the reel (er, soft shoe). but thats ok, the judges, apparently didnt care? haha works out for me anyway..but it was pretty DAMN GOOD for my FIRST FUCKING FEIS BACK, MAN! oh yeah, and this was a SETPIECE FEIS! so, i did my set (hardshoes, ohh yes!)..desperately hoping not to fall on my ass like the girl right ahead of me..poor thing..it was slippery, ugh. but i have to say it was the best ive ever done it..ever. haha, which really isnt much, considering i can NEVER do it in class...sped.anyway, in the end, it ended up...pretty ok, if i do say so myself, not the total disaster i had originally envisioned...psshht. i left that competition with 5th FREAKIN' PLACE HOLY SHIOTTTTTT (that is totally really so amazing, i was so excited! for the million+1 time). it is a wonder i placed at all, but i got 5th!!!! oh kristine, u shoulda been thurr, u woulda won the damn thing my shalty grill!!!! :D
anyway, again, a SUCCESSFUL inis fada feis!! (for erin too, congrats on getting 3rd in open, i am in awe at your utter amazingness! ---> ***** lol)

aand yet the short-lived are...still amazing

alritey, id just like to say to you all out there that even tho it is three oclock in the morning and i am bouncing off the walls again, life is good. i may be crazy, and i may be insane, but i have fun, and that is cool.
and i have many an experience with the short-lived, this blog entry will be included in my foregoings.... :)
ahh short-term memory loss...fuck it!
